Dear Parents and Students

It is said, ‘the journey of a thousand miles, begins with a single step‘. St. Paul‘s Mission School took that single step on the 1st of April 2020, when the teachers decided to take the Classroom to the Home. instead of waiting for the ongoing lockdown to be lifted.

That single step in the right direction, turned into a giant leap for all of us, in the hitherto alien world of Virtual Learning! And today, as we come to the end of the first phase of our Virtual Learning Period, I have just one word to say to you: Congratulations!! Well done Everybody!!

Dear Parents and Students, we know that this has been as new and challenging an experience for you, as it has been for us, Teachers. We understand that the entire programme of Virtual teaching would have failed, if you dear Parents and Students, did not cooperate and agree to hold hands with us, in taking the "Classroom to the Home Project" forward. Together, we have tried our boundaries and stretched our limits to embrace a domain of instruction that was completely alien to many of us.
We have explored uncharted waters and trudged through unknown terrain to conquer our fears and expand the horizons of our learning.

As Parents, Teachers and Students we have been open to learning new skills and donning new hats. And together, we have succeeded in breaking barriers. Dear Parents and Students, my hats off to you for walking that extra mile!!

I truly appreciate the sincere effort you have made. Thank you! We had begun the "Classroom to the Home Project" on the 1st of April 2020 with feeble steps but now we walk more confidently and with greater enthusiasm. The journey continues and so does the learning! The second phase of our Virtual classes will begin from the 15th of April 2020.

This time we have divided the subjects into 3 days so that the pressure of attending classes and submitting assignments on time, may be eased out a little, across 3 days instead of 2. The Subjects that will be taken up on Day1, Day2 & Day3, will be posted on the Class Teachers'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Group (CTG).

Keep up the spirit dear Parents and Students. The weeks ahead will not be easy. But we seek your patience through these trying times so that we may continue to hold hands and face the challenges Teacher-Student-Parent, together, as the family of St. Paul''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s Mission School. And together we will emerge from this crisis, unscathed, strengthened, victorious. Nil Desperandum!

Look ahead and never despair!

May the New Bengali Year herald a time of Hope for us all. Subho Noboborsho! Yours sincerely,

Mrs. Sanchita Biswas
