National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian
Armed Forces. It is a tri-services organization comprising the
Army, Navy and Air Force. The NCC was founded on 16 April 1948
by Dr. Hirday Nath Kunzru, with the aim of developing
character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the
spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst
