Intelligence plus character - that is the true goal of education

Secretary's Message

India, in the next 10/15 years is predicted to be one of the top three economies in the world. It is also known, that almost 50% of our population is less than 25 years of age. Our youth of today will be the ones tomorrow, who will make choices, take decisions and lead- in their families, their communities and in their work places. Our institutions do have an incredible responsibility, in shaping the lives of young boys and girls to face the future.

Considering these facts, let all the stakeholders, especially teachers of St. Paul’s Mission School  dream big to help the school  reach greater heights and move on from strength to strength in the days to come as you impart quality education to the students, instill and imbibe in them wise moral standards,  integrity of character, courage and care. Let these become the hallmarks and USP of our institution. I pray to God that He enables you to make prudent and judicious use of your God-given talents to ultimately bring honour and glory to His name through your untiring endeavours.

Carey Landry rightly sings, “The dream I have today, my Lord, is only a shadow of your dreams for me.” Our life’s mission is to wake up and make God’s glorious dream for us a reality in every sphere of life.

Former Indian President Abdul J. Kalam once said: “dreams are not things that you imagine in your sleep; they are things that do not allow you to sleep.”

God calls each one of you for something specific as you are unique to Him. You need to become aware of that call and it requires deep discernment and decision too. It is God who calls and God who sends. Are you ready to say, “Here I am, send me?” Remember that old hymn, “It takes courage to answer a call, it takes courage to give your all.”

As we all consider ourselves to be stakeholders of this unique initiative, let us also consider it as an imperative on our part to hand over this treasure to the coming generation in a better shape as we believe the best is yet to be.

I take this opportunity to congratulate Mrs. Sanchita Biswas and her dedicated team in all the departments of the school who have been toiling tirelessly to make this institution reach greater heights in the days to come.

May God richly bless you all!
